Happy Birthday Momma!

Caleb's nana (my momma) had a birthday on July 22nd and we had planned to go and eat at Phil's BBQ. Well...plans changed and I suggested to have her come over to my new place and have dinner. She agreed so on my way from work I quickly decorated the place and got everything prepared. I went to pick her and Caleb up and when we walked in the door Caleb yelled "SURPRISE NANA!" She had no idea that she was going to have decorations set up for her. I made porkchops with onions and bell peppers with mashed potatoes and she brought corn on the cob. I added some garlic toast as well. We sat and ate and she really enjoyed it as did Caleb! Afterwards we had 3 cupcakes and sang happy birthday. Caleb did a special happy birthday song for her that surprised her.



We each got a cupcake which was perfect and then she opened up her gift which was a bed in a bag comforter set. We had a really good time just relaxing and eating good food and we even played a puzzle with Caleb. Momma had a good birthday and I'm so very glad we were able to celebrate her special day with her.
